Fall Family Sessions

The leaves are changing, kids are going back to school and you just remembered you forgot you wanted to get family photos done this summer! Don’t worry, you’re not the only one. 

There’s nothing like the beginning of fall to make us cherish the last few days of sun before it rains, for what seems like forever. These days are my favourite for family sessions, luckily for me it’s also when everyone rushes to get their yearly photos done! With the warm colourful tones of the leaves and the perfect golden fall light, nothing makes a more beautiful setting to capture your family in all of its loving, playful glory than a fall day in Vancouver.

I like to approach your sessions like a fly on the wall watching you play, hug, laugh and just be you. We will of course get the group shots of everyone looking and smiling at the camera for the mantle at Grandma’s house, but then it’s time to have some fun! Every family is different and your images should showcase the special  intricacies that make yours unique. I want you to be able to look back 20 years from now and remember exactly how you felt in those fleeting moments that now make up some of the most memorable parts of your life.
